An interior designer, graphic designer and illustrator, Jan discovered silk painting in 1997 and has since painted and sold thousands of silk scarves. Her scarves are sold nationally at museum gift shops, galleries and exclusive apparel boutiques.

Jan’s designs are original and the style unique. She individually brush-paints each scarf. Her greatest love is color and her experience and innate color sense combine to create stunning wearable works of art. Jan’s commitment to beauty and service will delight the most discriminating individual.

Jan holds a degree in the history of art from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and an interior design degree from Iowa State University. She is a former professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA)
